Badge Guidelines

How to use an Aurora award badge correctly.

These rules apply to every authorized Aurora badge, in every recognition level.

Requirements

Maintain clear space around the badge at least equal to half the badge's height.
Never display the badge smaller than 64px on screen or 15mm in print.
Only place the badge on backgrounds with sufficient contrast to keep it legible.
A monochrome version may be used only where full color reproduction is not possible.
Use the web-optimized files for digital placements and the source files for print.
Always keep the year and category the badge displays intact and accurate.

Do not recolor the badge.
Do not stretch, skew, or otherwise distort the badge's proportions.
Do not add a glow or outer effect.
Do not add a drop shadow.
Do not crop the badge.
Do not otherwise modify the badge's artwork.
Do not use the badge after the recognition has been revoked.
Do not use the badge on a product or service other than the one it was awarded to.
